Managing Director & Owner

Ryan Fry

Operations Director

Ryan has extensive expertise in metal waste and recycling, cultivated over many years in the industry. Commercial Director

Chris brings a wealth of experience having spent 15 years honing his expertise in groundworks, construction, & waste management. His career includes roles at Unum & JLL, where he developed a deep understanding of operational efficiency & practices. His dedication to delivering top results and his strategic approach to complex challenges make him a valuable asset to the Recmat team. His industry knowledge underpins his commitment.

Hannah Griffin

Commercial Manager

Hannah brings over 15 years of invaluable experience, including prominent roles with major players in financial services, such as Citibank. Her extensive knowledge spans diverse industries, with notable expertise in the intricacies of recycling and the groundworks sector. Hannah’s multifaceted background makes her a key asset, contributing to the efficient and well-rounded management of office operations at RecMat.

Robert Eeles

Business & Community Development Manager

Rob brings with him a wealth of knowledge delivering excellence through team building, management and charitable experience. He has 9 years military service having served in the British Army Regulars and Reserves. He has continued his military connection with 8 years volunteering with the Cadets and 9 years volunteering with SSAFA, the Armed Forces Charity. He has over 25 years corporate experience working in the Financial Sector, building teams, managing departments and project delivery including launching Pan European Stock Exchanges in the UK and Europe.

Rob’s ability to engage people, build productive relationships and deliver positive outcomes benefits all functions of the business.

Glenn Crafter

Group Operations & Transport Manager

Glenn brings over 40 years of experience in the transport, haulage, and construction materials industry. Before joining RecMat, he worked as Operations & Transport Manager for an international corporate company, where he was responsible for overseeing large fleets, driver operations, and the movement of aggregates and construction materials across London and the South East.

At RecMat, Glenn leads the transport and operations function, ensuring our fleet runs efficiently, safely, and in full compliance. His extensive industry knowledge and practical leadership help us deliver reliable, sustainable services to our clients while supporting the continued growth of the business.

Jacqueline Reece

Transport Planner

Jacqualine has built her career in the waste and recycling sector, bringing valuable experience from her time at a leading local waste management company. With a strong background in route planning, driver coordination, and customer service, she has developed a reputation for keeping complex transport operations running smoothly and efficiently.

At RecMat, Jacqualine is responsible for daily transport planning, ensuring our vehicles are scheduled effectively, collections and deliveries are on time, and our clients receive a reliable service. Her attention to detail, problem-solving approach, and knowledge of the waste industry make her a key part of the transport team.

Lacey Vine

Group Finance Director

Lacey Vine joins Recmat as our dedicated Account Manager, bringing a wealth of expertise from her successful career at TC Group. Transport Manager

Tom brings a wealth of knowledge and over 30 years of experience to his role at RecMat, with a background steeped in transport and logistics across diverse sectors. His career includes many years as Transport Manager at Clubb Sand & Gravel, where he developed exceptional skills in managing complex transportation operations. Tom’s extensive expertise, combined with his natural ability for organisation and punctuality, makes him an invaluable asset to the RecMat team.

SHEQ Manager

Tony brings extensive experience in workplace safety to Recmat. Committed to fostering a safe, compliant environment, Tony ensures all processes meet the highest standards. His proactive approach and in-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations make him an invaluable asset to both our team and clients. His experience & knowledge ensure a safe environment to operate in for all staff at Recmat, including the dogs.

Angela Quarrington

Group Finance Manager

Angela brings over 30 years of corporate finance experience to her role as Group Finance Manager at Fry Group. Throughout her career, she has developed a strong track record in financial management, compliance, and strategic oversight, ensuring businesses operate with both stability and growth in mind.

Before joining Fry Group, Angela spent a significant part of her career at Coutts, the prestigious private bank, where she honed her expertise in high-level financial operations and client service. Her background working with one of the UK’s most respected financial institutions gives her a unique perspective on governance, risk management, and the importance of building long-term financial resilience.

Karen Turnbull

Team Leader

Karen brings over two decades of diverse industry experience to her role as Team Leader at RecMat. With a decade of experience as a Team Coordinator at Go Ahead London, she honed her leadership skills and operational management expertise. As a certified HGV Driver and Trainer, Karen is dedicated to upholding the highest standards. In her two years at RecMat, she has ensured smooth operations and consistently delivered exceptional service to clients. Karen takes pride in fostering a positive work environment & empowering team members.

Nick Matthews

Operations Manager

Nick brings over six years of experience in company operations and plays a vital role in supporting the internal functions of RecMat, part of the Fry Group.

He is responsible for streamlining processes, coordinating resources, and ensuring that daily operations run smoothly across the business. By focusing on internal systems and team support, Nick helps maintain efficiency and consistency, allowing frontline teams to deliver at their best. Mutterials Handler

Meet Buddy, our four-legged maestro of mutterials! With a wag in his tail and a nose for nonsense, Buddy takes his role as the professional “mutterials handler” very seriously. Whether it’s a stray squeaky toy or a mysteriously chewed-up newspaper, Buddy ensures that every mutterial that crosses his path is thoroughly inspected and, when necessary, given the canine seal of approval. His dedication to the art of mutterial management is unmatched, making him an essential part of the RecMat team.
